- (1972- )Born in Manchester, United Kingdom, Williamson was educated at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London. He debuted his collection Electric Angels, in 1997, during London Fashion Week and managed to get Kate Moss, Helena Christensen, and Jade Jagger to model for him. Known for exquisite embroideries and beading, Williamson designed wom-enswear, menswear, babywear, and lifestyle collections. He maintains two stores in London and launched a fragrance called Matthew Williamson, in 2005. Williamson replaced Christian Lacroix as artistic director at Emilio Pucci and showed his first collection for it in 2006.
